7 months late but, @ 22:45 The 14% is how much crew is left. Jumps to 37%, I'm guessing, because it hits below 0% crew as it dies and confuses the display.

You can already split throttles in the game. Its engine controls. Just like in props you control how much throttle for each engine. This has been in the game for a long time.

You need to set up engine controls for engine one and two. You need to throttle down all the way and then turn off one of the engine controls, that will split the throttle Edit: Full Real Controls, at the bottom
